Gold fineness marks 969 and 23K. The ring is made in Tampere in 1892, at the same time new provisions for parts per thousand fineness marks came into force. The gold fineness mark 969 has a rectangular base. Gold fineness marks with oval bases were enforced in 1893/95.

750 and 18K fineness marks. Parts per thousand fineness marks came into force in 1892, but for a long time the new marks were used alongside the old carat marks. The ring in the picture was made in 1907.
