The Hallmark Committee was established in 2009 to create an electronic database of the responsibility marks used by Finnish goldsmiths and silversmiths.
The database covers marks used from 1373 to 1970. The committee brings together expertise in precious metals, marks, history, research, legislation and regulatory work.
